psychological will + logical order = magical movements

more and more I'm finding that difference between what gets done and what not; what's achieved and what's not; who wins (continues to show up) and who does not (gives up), has got more do with psychological will than logical aspects

our brain is wired to logically navigate the why this will *not work*, that's easy; whereas job at hand has always been to keep a very high psychological barrier to not succumb to this, and let all your logical wisdom guide you to the happy path, the route on which everything works

this is hard to do at personal level, individuals's will power;

its harder to do as a group in a team, team's will power;

its hardest to do with an external group involved, collective will power;

these psychological will powers with logical order are true moats, democracy had this, human genome project had this, Manhattan project had this, and this formula always leads to magical movements. always.

time travel to future

Every time a new technology comes, it sucks out redundancy from the system. Redundancy of all types, ones we always wanted, ones we never imagined. One axis around which everything remains same is time. We all have limited time, as individuals and civilisation alike. Thus, we need to prioritise it ruthlessly. Knowingly, unknowingly, at work and life alike. If someone's good at some work, they charge higher hourly rate. When value add is even higher, they even get % of outcome. That's how sacred time is!

Magic happens when hours of work can be done in seconds. What that essentially means is now you can program that work. More it can be orchestrated at scale, faster we can time travel as a civilisation in terms of progress. More we save time from repeat work, more we can repurpose time to things that we care about (are real hard) or ones we enjoy (are real fun to us!).

Imagine manually washing your clothes, or walking to travel. It's simple innovation like washing machines and cars which allowed us all to lead better lives. With ai this list is only going to go up, the laundry list of boring essential tasks that will become invisible and done by machines, with our assistance or completely autonomously. More technology saves time for us, more technology unlocks time for us, faster we time travel to future. Travelling to year 2500, in year 2050 itself.
